Evolution of the V3, the only bar on the market under 100g!* Improving it further by adding rubber X-Grip, stiffened PU leader lines, Sk76 hybrid wear sections and new extra options to create your ultimate bar. For those that want the lightest possible bar or a simple fixed center hole.

Lightweight carbon bar
Thin, stiff and light giving a direct feel with your kite. The rubber X-Grip gives the most comfortable surface texture while maintaining the direct and light feel of the carbon bar.
Light nylon center hole
A screw on off-center bar-hole onto a continuous carbon tube. No holes or reinforcements needed making an extremely light and strong bar possible

Simple, durable, low drag
Every part of the bars has gone through years of testing and multiple iterations to come to the most simple and durable solution with the best hardware available.

Compact quick release
Only 11cm long. Our harness-based push-away Seatbelt Quick Release gives you the longest possible amount of bar travel in a compact freely swiveling package.
Create your perfect bar
As all bars are produced in-house you can choose from a wide variety of options to create a fully customized bar from our 4 versions.

Features

5 Sizes
46cm, 50cm, 54cm, 58cm, 62cm
These are the stock lengths of the Max bar V4 to cover the needs of most riders.
Custom lengths are possible with extra lead-times.
2 Thicknesses
The 20mm is made from a tube with a 1mm wall thickness making it the lightest bar available.
The 22mm is made from a tube with a 2mm wall thickness, giving a heavier bar with unparalleled stiffness .

X-Grip
Rubber shrink-wrap grip glued onto middle 28cm of the bar, adding a durable grip layer with only 10gr extra weight while maintaining the direct and smooth feel of the carbon bar and only increasing the thickness by 1mm.
Off-center hole
Making the lightest bar possible, having a thin center of the bar and keeps the depower cord away from rubbing against your fingers.

Replaceable nylon center hole
When worn or broken you can easily replace the center hole, made from nylon for less friction and longer life span of the depower cord and flagout lines running through it.
Adjustable bar-throw
The clamcleat or stopper can be positioned at any location on the 550mm, 650mm, 750mm or 850mm depower cord for optimal personalization.

Ergonomic bar-ends
Utilizing the full bar-width using as little material as possible with integrated bungees and enough room to wind 25m line sets.
All parts easily replaceable by removing only 1 bolt.
Thin adjustable leader lines
Highly adjustable by +/- 116mm at 23mm steps in an accessible location without loose lines dangling around.
Covered with an optional PU tube on the freeride bars to stiffen them up and aid in grabbing.

Composite trim line
A Dyneema line with a 3mm PU core stitched through it’s center for optimal stiffness against tangling and the best clinging power into the cleat without getting stuck for the ultimate trimming experience.
Polarwave or Ronstan pulley’s
Ronstan orbit 20 pulleys used for our 5.5mm and 6.5mm trim lines.
New are the Polarwave light 18mm pulley’s with ceramic bearings that are shielded against sand, used with an extra thin 4.5mm trim line.

Soft Bracket
Lightweight Dyneema bracket for a reliable and low-wear single line flagout system.
Allowing for a short lower front line section as the handshake knot between the lines can pass through the bracket.
Quality Braidtech lines
SK99+ 425 front and SK99 300 back lines combined with a SK76 450 hybrid wear section giving the ultimate mix between line types for high strength, low drag and extremely low wear for those that demand only the best.

Smooth back lines
By offsetting the connection point of the back lines 50cm below that of the front lines you have a smooth section of line at the cross-point of the back lines. Even on the shortest line lengths.
It’s built into the hybrid wear section so you can still use a line set of 4x equal length.
